Seems like the companies are taking their time to develop virtual 3d glasses we have been waiting for for a decade, and there is a lot reasons why. It is very very hard to have a product that is actually impressive for users to use, precise, high quality and one that actually improve the experience. Google Cardboard Glasses is definitely not the product we all were waiting for, but it can help to pass the time until we will get the real deal! 
Compatible with iOS and Android based phones (please note if you have iPhone 6 plus, it will not fit in the cardboard) this product comes with an app and features several different modes: you can fly over google earth with low resolution maps of cities, you can inspect a mid quality 3d model, visit places through a panorama pictures around the world, and take a ride on the roller-coaster that seems to be made in WorldCraft – very pixalated 3d reality. Of course all those techs look pretty amateur at this point, but eventually with the development and integration of a 3d cameras, better resolution world mapping and other improvements, this product can take us to new levels of phone interactions.
Even though the wheel button on the side is somewhat responsive, the controls are obnoxious, the lenses feel kinda cheap, this is still a pretty cool product at this price point. Get it to play with, develop for it or just feel inspired by.
Just don’t expect to wow all your friends, we are all very hard to impress!
